The question is not, how much does the youth know when he has finished his education, but how much does he care? And about how many orders of things does he care? In fact, how large is the room in which he finds his feet set? And, therefore, how full is the life he has before him?

A LIVING EDUCATION
Ambleside School of Faith Church fosters educational renewal based on Charlotte Mason’s philosophy and practice. We serve the community by providing a living education to students and families.
Here your child is viewed as a complete person, created by God with a desire to learn. We engage your child with a relational method, rich curriculum, and the gentle formation of academic, moral, and interpersonal habits.
AMBLESIDE SCHOOL OF FAITH CHURCH
Exciting news for families in the Tampa Bay area! Ambleside is expanding its presence and opening a new campus, Ambleside School of Faith Church in Seminole, Florida in August 2026. We will be accepting applications for children from Kindergarten through 2nd grade with plans to grow! At Ambleside, we are committed to shaping the whole person—mind, heart, and character. Our approach to education integrates joy, intentionality, and wonder in everything we do, ensuring that every day is filled with meaningful learning experiences.
An Ambleside Education
Knowingly or not, the educational practice of every teacher is based upon a philosophy of education. Sometimes this philosophy is explicitly recognized. More often than not, it is merely implied by the teacher’s classroom practices.
At Ambleside, we are very intentional in everything we do. We believe that the 19th-century British educator, Charlotte Mason, got it right. Thus, we seek to consistently apply her principles and methods. Foundational is the conviction that “Children are Born Persons” and that “Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, a Life.”
