Admissions
Ambleside School of Faith Church is currently accepting applications for the next school year, 2026-2027. Applications are being accepted for Kindergarten through Second Grade. Ambleside School of Faith Church will add a grade each year.
The admissions process, which includes required components for both parents, can take several weeks to complete. Therefore, early application is encouraged. We appreciate your interest and hope to assist you in any way we can.
Step One: Fill Out Application Form
Please complete the application here. You will be asked to attest to having read the Ambleside School of Faith Church Statement of Faith, Mission, and Foundational Convictions.
Step Two: Prepare to Submit Forms
You will be asked to submit supplemental forms:
Your child’s standardized test results (applying for Grades 2 and above) and report cards for the past two years.
A Student Recommendation Form, completed by your child’s current teacher, or an adult who has worked with your child over a period of time in a group situation (if kindergarten or home-schooled).
A non-refundable application fee of $125 per student.
Step Three: Assessment
Once we have received the required documentation mentioned in #2 above, we will work with you to schedule a student assessment at the school. A non-refundable $50 assessment fee will be collected at the time of the assessment.
Step Four: Philosophy Introduction
Please watch “The Ambleside Difference” videos in preparation for the parent interview. Both parents are required to view all 21 videos in the series.
If you would enjoy learning more about the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education, we recommend reading For the Children’s Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay.
Step Five: Parent Interview
Following the student assessment and required philosophy introduction, a parent interview will be scheduled. During the interview we will discuss the required videos, provide feedback on the student assessment, and answer any remaining questions. We ask that both parents (or legal guardians) participate in the interview.
Decision and Enrollment
Following completion of the above, letters of acceptance or non-acceptance will be sent out. Qualified applicants will be considered based on space availability and optimal classroom mix. If a particular class fills, accepted students may be placed in a Wait Pool and parents will be informed.
